Open source is the main theme when the Faultline newsletter draws attention to Inteno Group’s success.

Rethink has been publishing, forecasting and consulting since 2002 and are best known for their articles produced for the research services; Wireless Watch (5G and wireless networks), Faultline (entertainment ecosystem and streaming media), and Rethink Energy (technology disruption in renewables and energy transition).

In the latest edition of the newsletter Faultline, Inteno is highlighted as a loud advocate in favor of open source operating systems for residential gateways, through its software subsidiary IOPSYS.

In the article, Inteno CEO Conny Franzén, declares that “The open source winds are blowing” and refers to BT as one of the customers of the IOPSYS open source SDK.

Franzén also compares the IOPSYS SDK to what Android delivers with its mobile OS empire. “To improve customer satisfaction, we need low and high-level open APIs. When we get this, nothing can stop the industry from delivering future services”, says Conny Franzén.
