Ping Communication selects IOPSYS as software partner for broadband gateways

Ping Communication Group and IOPSYS Software Solutions AB announce today that IOPSYSWRT, an open-source enterprise software SDK for gateway and IoT products, has been selected by Ping.

This announcement marks an important step in IOPSYS’ continuous drive towards open-source and standardization in the broadband industry as well as Ping Communication’s clear ambition to evolve and expand their gateway business.

The software IOPSYSWRT is based on OpenWrt and provides a full enterprise triple play solution including functions such as Life Cycle Management, EasyMesh, remote management including the new BBF standard, USP/TR-369. IOPSYSWRT is based on the best from the open-source community combined with knowledge gained from building innovative gateway solutions for more than a decade.
